 They do have a website aimed at consumers at http://www.asp-shareware.com.
Their FAQ has some points on why shareware can be better than retail
products (http://www.asp-shareware.com/info/user-benefits.asp).  Still it
seems they have focused more on trading marketing tips with members from
what I've seen.  Obviously a better effort that this would need to be made
to inform consumers.
