Subject: [LTC-Sales_Discussions] LTC Deductibility
We are seeing a number of businesses converting from C to S Corp =
status to avoid hassles with reasonable comp issues. One problem this =
is creating is the loss of a deduction for employer paid LTCi plans for =
physician clients with greater than 2% ownership and, even more =
disturbing, for a large number of physician prospects.
We have heard there may be a solution by using either a 419 structure, =
MSA's or by establishing a bona fide C Corp management company. Do any =
of you have experience with this dilemma and/or a solution? If so I =
would enjoy hearing from you. Thank you for your contributions in =
advance.
