I am a GE agent since 1995 with over 80 claims-NO PROBLEMS-EVER! If =
anything , GE pays MORE than you would expect and does so with grace and =
caring. There was an issue a couple yrs ago where a policy holder moved =
to another state w/ different definitions of facilities. A claim was =
denied on the discrepancy. The problem hit the papers and got the =
attention of corporate. Not only was the claim paid, but a whole new =
level of protection against such missteps was instituted. The problem =
was solved immediately. That is how GE works.=20
For claims payment histories, check the state of OHIO DOI website and =
past docs. The last update was 1998 or so, but it is helpful in the =
aggregate.

Where does one find out which companies have a history of paying =
claims & which don't?

Also, I've repeatedly heard rumor & I stress rumor that GE LTC has had =
a problem paying claims. I find that hard to swallow and would love =
input on it & where this is coming from. Opinions are great, but I'm =
looking for documented facts.
Make it SIMPLE. Make it CLEAR. Make it HAPPEN.=20
