That is a wonderful testimony about your mom's experience with GE.I am so
sorry for your loss but glad she was able to receive the best of care due to
her coverage. You have a powerful story to share. I am curious as to how the
customer service is working out since that dept. was moved to India as did
Conseco.

Eric,
I can vouch for GE from personal experience. My mother had LTCi with GE.
I filed her claim in 1998 without a problem and she continued to receive
benefits until a couple of weeks ago when she passed away. Believe me, I
thanked God everyday that my Mom was able to qualify for and purchased the
coverage.
I had not one problem with GE's claims paying. They did miscalculate on 2
or 3 of her monthly checks, but as soon as I brought the discrepancies to
their attention, they sent supplement checks immediately.

Where does one find out which companies have a history of paying claims
& which don't?
Also, I've repeatedly heard rumor & I stress rumor that GE LTC has had a
problem paying claims. I find that hard to swallow and would love input on
it & where this is coming from. Opinions are great, but I'm looking for
documented facts.
Make it SIMPLE. Make it CLEAR. Make it HAPPEN.
