Morning Doug,
I am working with the head marketing people in most cases. They are =
very open to keeping everyone happy. =20
CNA is more challenging from a couple of stand points. They are not as =
motivated with their current situation to care so much about the =
producer in the field. Nor are they all that concerned about older =
policies lapsing. The math works out that once a policy gets to 5 or 6 =
years old, the carrier has made money on it and it has yet to cost too =
much in terms of claims. So, if an insured accepts a rate increase, =
fine, if they lapse, that's OK too. I am dealing with someone who I =
think will help us, who can make the change, but not the higher ups who =
are more concerned at this point with the RoE on the book.
SO GANG, PLEASE, DON'T VOICE YOUR CONCERN ABOUT THIS TO CNA UNTIL =
IF/WHEN THIS EFFORT HAS FAILED. The contract you have at LTPC, I =
believe, makes it easy for Progeny to call the book of business their =
own, not the agents.
I will keep you posted. We should know early next week and thanks for =
getting the word out.
We will keep pressure on to do what is right for the women and men in =
the frontlines,
tm
