Dear Doug:

I was with the company for over a year and a half and thought I found a home.
The fact that I have to start all over again and lose all renewals is bad
enough. We should be vested immediately, if not at 7% then some compromise at a
lessor number but not ZERO. Everything is negotiable. We should be able to
deliver and service policies. That is what the applicant assumes and the main
reason they bought in the first place. They trusted us enough to apply and
now it looks as if we lied to them. Our integrity is at stake. Are we liable
for making promises to clients that we cannot keep? Did we sell under false
pretenses?

I can see what they are trying to do. If we are not allowed to service our
clients then why should we get renewals. The bigger issue is being able to
service our business. Then I think the argument for renewals will fall into
place and have some credence to it.

One more issue and then I am done. I saw too many agents go outside the
company and purchase their own leads and run up extra expenses. On occasion I
bought some leads and did my own advertising. Not to be able to service these
clients is wrong. Not getting renewals on these clients is just not right.

Just my opinion. But remember it is not good to dwell on this. It is good
to move on with opportunities out there. But if we have a chance and a case
then it should be looked into.

Good luck to all

Richard More
