1. Being able to get renewal commission at better than the level of $350,000. I am over that now, but won't be able to save clients that may lapse with the policy Progeny is holding to of our not being able to talk with clients that expect to be able to talk to us.
2. Being able to deliver to clients sold, especially when they have indicated they may want to go to 10-pay and they want me, their agent, to review policy details with them and their family.
3. Being able to service clients sold through the reps own acquisition. This would include leads purchased through the agent, business affiliation groups such as the Chamber of Commerce, business referral networking groups, expos etc, that were funded by the agent, not LTPC.

All of these should still fit under the current contract of non-compete and maintaining the clients business through the current carrier and LTPC.

  Doug,

I believe all of us should be immediately vested at 7%. I am 61 years old and was counting on my renewals for retirement. Legally, they probably aren't obligated, but MORALLY they are. Failure to do so will demonstrate their MORAL BANKRUPTCY, which is all too common in corporate America.

Also believe we should be allowed to deliver our policies. As an example, I submitted a policy last week with quarterly mode of premium. Upon approval, the client wants to change to annual. This is a 10-pay and I am concerned we will lose it, if I don't make the delivery.

  Thanks,
  Rich Werner

    Howdy,

I have scheduled a phone call with the top Progeny Management for later this week to discuss this issue of problems with LTPC's shutdown. I am putting my agenda for the phone call together and wanted some input. My skills as a neogiator are not tuned to perfection, but I have been known to be competent in this area & I am convinced that we have some leverage.

I feel that we have the right to ask for certain concessions from Progeny. I also feel that it is imperative that this dialogue start now. So what I'm asking is for you to tell me what area's are important to you. Where do you think you are being "short changed" by LTPC's shutdown and the policies that are being enforced. The deadline for submissions is NOON tomorrow, Wednesday, June 11th. My phone call will take place shortly thereafter. Please address your issues to ltpc-disc@ltpcalums.com so we can all participate.

    Thanks,
    Doug

P.S. I will report back about the results of the phone call.
