Doug, please address the most recent Mickey Mouse chicken s..t stuff the company is pulling because it did not have the proper accounting mechanisms in place to properly pay commissions when agents changed payment modes to 10-pay upon delivery, and when the agent had to use non-exclusive discounts, such as AAA, to get give CNA a definitive advantage over its competition. Also, who selected the arbitrary "one-year lookback audit" on these accounts? If Cendant won't go after all of it, why just one-year? Why weren't we told about this prior to it occurring on our commission statements? It was the company's mistake and it should eat it, especially when those of us who have been with the company for less than two years have very little renewal income to overcome a big blow. At the very least, Cendant should have spread it out to ease the financial burden.
This is just another example of why LTPC was run into the ground.
Also, just for s..ts and giggles, see if you can find out just what transpired. When did Cendant make the decision to turn LTPC loose, and why no other company wanted to buy it or the potential deals were botched. I'd like to have an official statement on that whether or not it does us any good.
