Bud,
This is exactly why this website has moved into this next phase of =
discussion. Lawyers and such. Can we honestly say we even have a case, =
let alone winnable. Inevitably, I think we will have to consult a lawyer =
and put together a board who we can get behind and support. I'm one of =
those nu-ees that lost a few thousand in renewals.I'm not going to =
totally forget what happened. Especially for people who lost much more =
than me. I however have made choices and am moving on to another =
company. Lets get more organized, give our total support to Doug, and in =
my humble opinion wait for him to get back to us on what he thinks next =
steps should be,

Jeff

Hey Gang, don't all jump on me at once. I have always been one to =
fight for what I feel is right. Other then the right to contact our =
clients, what other matters should be discussed or pursued that were not =
in the contract. What legal stance do we have?

With all due respect to Bud, I agree Ben. We cannot stand idle and =
let the parent company take advantage of us the way they are attempting =
to. If we sit idly by and let them call the shots and say nothing, then =
they have won, and we have lost. We only want fairness. We need =
everyone who feels they have been wronged by this company to unite and =
fight for what is rightfully ours. =20

I'm sorry, Bud, but everyone has a right to his or her opinion and =
what is or is not important to them in life. And what people do with =
their time is their own business. You may be entirely correct that all =
of this effort is for naught, but we will never know unless it is =
investigated. It is not inappropriate for anyone to find out if he or =
she was wronged by an employer, especially when the employer has so much =
to gain and its employees so much to loose. As we speak, these issues =
are being looked into by labor law attorneys and the NLRB, both as to =
the agent contracts and the actions of the company and its officers over =
the past few years and months. If the opinions are that no laws were =
violated, then we move on. However, if these entities believe we have =
some grounds to pursue, then we will be presented with our options and =
costs so we can decide if we want to pursue our legal rights as wronged =
employees. Given the past track record of the parent company, is it out =
of the question that we, as employees, should not be suspicious of back =
room wrongdoing? I, and alot of others, don't believe it is wrong and =
we have laws in place to allow us to pursue the answers to our questions =
and concerns.

Yes, Bud, the bit---ing and moaning does get a bit spirited at =
times, and we all handle our anger and pain in different ways. Live and =
let live. If a person does not like what channel the radio or TV is on, =
then he or she has the option of turning it off by following Doug's =
instructions on how to remove oneself from the reception. If by some =
far stretch of the imagination we find out that some concessions or =
compensation is legally and rightfully ours and we attain them, then I =
trust you will gracefully not accept them. Doug handled the recent, =
more spirited banter properly and professionally. I, too, agree that we =
need to concentrate our efforts on constructive measures to see if we =
are legally entitled to what may have been taken from us in the =
corporate world, and less on personal attacks on this bulletin board. I =
have previously vented my anger, but now I have decided to channel that =
anger into seeking the proper legal advice while at the same time =
"putting the bread on the table," to quote a phrase from someone we all =
admire and respect. I hope you can see it from this standpoint and join =
us because we could always use a man of your knowledge and experience on =
our team.
