thanks for the info. I myself have also considered seeking legal counsel on 
my own, since it looks like, at least on the surface, that nothing's happening 
here. I do feel that what Cendant did, if what one manager told me, may have 
been illegal, but I don't know that.

I think it would be unfortunate if all of us had to go to attorneys 
separately and on our own, but maybe that's what needs to happen. I'm really surprised 
to hear that it looks like that's what you've done.

But, that's great if you'll share this info with the rest of us. I was told 
by a top-ranking manager that Progeny made the decision to do this massive 
layoff over a year ago. Keeping this information from recruits and enticing them 
with promises of vesting and residual income was at best, reprehensible, and 
may even have been illegal.
