amen kathy, this is clearly an area that nobody wants to address. if i as a
client knew what had happened , i would look for another policy, not because
of me, but because progeny wants to mis handle this whole thing. and in
conclusion, it never had to be like this. everyone could have won, progeny
could have been a hero. and they still can, its up to them and it wouldn't
cost them anything.

Another consideration is the detriment to our professional
reputation regarding our clients and prospects.
From the client prospective, first, they bought me and
the insurance company not LTPC. Second,if LTPC doesn't
provide timely and appropriate service to them, that
impacts on my professional reputation. I am monitoring one
particular scenario as we speak to see if the service is
up to par. We should all be concerned about our
professional reputation in so far as Cendant's actions
have impacted it. It has bearing on our ability to earn a
living.
From the standpoint of prospects planning to write at
some future date, all of that work was for nothing and I
am letting them down--they trusted me--build trust,
remember. Isn't that what we were taught. My professional
reputation has been impacted again.
Keep an eye on the impact on your professional reputation
resulting from LTPC's actions and document any events.
Kathy
