Bill -- You and I have agreed on most everything posted over the past =
few months, but your thoughts about Doug Burg are definitely unfounded. =
Doug was an agent just like us and this forum is not sponsored by LTPC. =
Doug is definitely behind the plight of LTPC agents -- vested and =
nonvested alike. Unfortunately in the middle of all this he and his =
family moved from MD to a new home in CO almost immediately after his =
first conversation with Cendant, and was on the move during the second =
conversation. I realize it is unsettling that none of us have gotten =
any information from those conversations -- yet. But, please be =
patient, as I know this will be foremost on Doug's mind once he and his =
family get settled in CO. Doug is not part of the great Cendant =
conspiracy and he is committed to the fight -- if it is determined that =
we have grounds to fight on.
So, Bill, please understand that Doug will have given what he posts to =
us considerable thought in so that there will be no misunderstanding or =
misinterpretation of what he wants to convey to us. I hope that will =
you reassess your "dark thoughts" and give Doug your full support, =
backing and apology.

I am going to play the devil's advocate and wary skeptic to the =
chagrin of some as recent events and lack of communication have raised =
some concern as to where the campaign to resolve our grievances with =
Cendant is headed. Too much is at stake to take for granted that this =
forum, which is apparently being paid for and monitored by Cendant, is =
being used to further our cause. I will accept any and all condemnation =
for the following comments and I will plead Mia Culpa ad infinitum if my =
comments are unwarranted. My comments are not to be taken as a personal =
attack or meant to impugn the character of any individual. The purpose =
of this message is to attempt to get some clarification as to Doug =
Burg's role in this campaign. Is he representing Cendant or is he =
representing the LTPC Alumni. I, as apparently all of us, have trusted =
that Doug Burg was our spokesman and chief advocate in our fight to get =
reasonable, honorable and just concessions from Cendant. Doug certainly =
has the qualifications as he was in a key management position with LTPC. =
However that being said; The fact that Doug was a key player at LTPC =
and the fact that Cendant is sponsoring this forum could lead one to =
have the black thought that Doug is a double agent and that the purpose =
of this forum is to have a place where the Alumni can let off steam and =
dissipate their energy to continue the fight. I sincerely hope that =
these dark thoughts are unfounded. The only one who can clear them up =
is Doug. We cannot afford to take for granted that anyone is working on =
our behalf unless we have a clearly stated commitment to the cause, a =
clear statement as to what has been accomplished thus far and the plan =
of action. Are we going to, as a group, seriously consider a class =
action suit or are we going to trust that our grievances will be =
resolved to our satisfaction by having Doug negotiate on our behalf. We =
have to communicate our thoughts on these matters if we have any chance =
of getting getting concessions. We may have to reorganize (we never =
were really organized) and consider communicating outside of the Cendant =
paid forum. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to accomplish this. =
Again I plead Mia Culpa before the fact if any of these comments are =
unfounded. Doug, please give us some answers and reassure us that you =
committed to the fight.

I'm not sure, but I think we've all been waiting for Doug to get =
back to us regarding the phone call he had with Progeny (has it been 3 =
weeks now?). His reticence about this seems a little strange to me. How =
