  Colleagues,

My name is Lesa Melchor from Orlando, Florida, and was with LTPC as an =
agent since last August. I've not responded to the barrage of emails =
I've gotten since the inception of this, often times, wonderful tool =
because I've just sat back and absorbed the aftermath of the events of =
late rather than taking a proactive stance. I've read many of the =
emails and some I've had to delete as I've not had time to keep up. As =
I've reflected on the emails I have read, one thing keeps coming to =
mind.
Has ANYONE read "WHO MOVED MY CHEESE," by Spenser Johnson? It's a =
great little 45 minute read where 4 mice, representing the 4 basic ways =
that people handle change, are outlined. Their responses to change =
obviously vary, from the one mouse that refuses to "MOVE ON" by trying =
to revive a dead horse, to the other mouse that continually tries to =
"require justice for being slighted" to the other mouse who gets wind of =
change, points his nose in a new direction and charges forward, to the =
mouse who whines and complains about everything that was done wrong to =
him until he finally realizes HE ALONE is responsible for the direction =
in his own life. Reading much of these emails reminds me of those 4 =
mice. =20

I'm sure my comments aren't going to be the most popular on the block, =
but hey, I'm a saleswoman, a risk taker, and I don't mind being bold and =
forthright with my 'two cents'. You can just delete me if you don't =
like what I have to say!!! Hey, my kids do!!!! haha

I've listened to people complain about issues from their 'leads' =
weren't derived from the proper sources, telemarketers at best, to =
having Monday morning quarterback analysis of the intentions of =
management, to wishing they had a crystal ball that would have told them =
not to start with this company in the first place. What I find most =
interesting is we along have the choice to make something of what was =
given to us or we don't---but alot of folks rather live in denial =
instead of taking responsibility for their own actions, sans me some of =
the time. I got the same leads everyone else got, some were good, some =
weren't. I worked the ones that were, made a lot of money and filed 13 =
the once that weren't...what's the big deal???? When I got myself on =
the phones daily for my 3-4 hours, and stuck with it, I MADE my 15/10/5. =
To be honest with you, the ratio was much higher. I've worked for =
sales companies where all I was given was a phonebook, a pair of high =
heeled shoes and the pavement so I was grateful for any lead at all.=20

I can't control the motives of corporate officials, and I've learned =
along time ago that although I can't control the outcome, I damn sure =
can control my response! I have the ability to make decisions and make =
choices that are good for me and mine, sans, this situation. The best =
salesperson, from my experience in sales and in management, never gets =
'hung up' in excuses, they just look for the target, walk through fire =
and do what no one else will do to get where they need to get. Those =
who stop to smell the wreckage are only hindered by their own thinking.

Sure, I might not have liked how certain officials handled themselves, =
or how certain events played out, but in the scheme of life, is this =
really a deal breaker?????? Do we really have all the behind the scenes =
facts to make accurate statements? NO, we don't. And I for one am too =
busy in my life to worry about it. At the end of the day, folks, this =
ship has sunk and we NEED NEW CHEESE!!!!!! =20

Please don't get me wrong, I know there were people hired in the 4th =
quarter of this game, and I didn't like it either, but are you going to =
look at this glass half empty or half full? Take from life the =
experiences that it gives you, step up to the plate and swing---and =
don't strike out lookin'!!!!!!!! Sometimes you win, sometimes you =
lose---it's definitely how you respond that makes you grow!!! This =
isn't the first time you've probably had to start over, and I'm quite =
sure it won't be the last....so smile, put on a good attitude, accept =
nothing but the best from yourself and MOVE FORWARD!!!!!!!

Colleagues, I exhort you to follow what makes you happy, what gives =
you peace and what provides for your family. Because, in the end, =
baring a relationship with God Himself, that's the only thing that =
really matters!

  God Bless,

  Lesa Melchor
