Hi Berry and all,=20

I have become convinced that people must have loved LTPC! Why else =
would they grieve so with so many opportunities around ? Better pay, =
better leads and better chances of rapidly building a renewal =
book........hmmmmmmmm what do I miss most .......ERNIE of course! =
(kidding the people I worked with for years)

LTPC was a great train ground and the experience can never be taken away =
from people. It is what makes them capable of seizing the opportunity =
of the day!

Wishing good thoughts for all my friends!

Deb

Tom, finally a voice of reason! This are "small potatoes". You ar =
correct, the staff at LTPC, including the President probably didn't have =
much of a say in the matter.=20

As I have said in previous postings, no one was irreparably damaged. =
These are simply things that happen in big business.=20

People would be better served to "get on with it"! The problem is =
Tom, there are too many people here giving legal advice that aren't even =
remotely qualified to do so. In my humble opinion, some of these folks =
are hanging on because of the misleading "cheerleading" they are =
receiving on this site.=20

The mentality here has simply sunk to "let me hold on and see if =
Cendant throws me a bone". "A bone I didn't earn according to the =
contract I signed". " Something for nothing please".=20

We can all show empathy for the friends we have at LTPC that weren't =
vested. But wanting them to be vested just because that would be nice =
for them, isn't right!
This never ending stream of frivolous litigation in this country is =
embarassing. Everytime someone feels they weren't treated fairly, look =
out!.

Bottom line here is, it took 350K to vest, not 334K, not 323.5K, not =
349K. You signed a contract to that affect. I am absolutely floored that =
intelligent people think that a Company that is struggling should get on =
the bull horn and annouce it to the entire firm. They would certainly =
have failed then! Everyone would have deserted. No time to get =
additional business in the pipeline, no extended benefits. No time to =
search for other opportunities.

It was Progenys' job the make every effort to save LTPC. (If that was =
their desire!) Either to sell it, change it or close it. When the =
decision was made to do one of those three, we were told which one it =
was going to be. It was NONE of our business prior to that.

That's it, I can't read about any more cry babies. If this situation =
will cripple you financially, then shame on you for being in that =
position as an adult. Most of which I've met are over 35 and should have =
a living figured out by now. Few have a good excuse, most of us do not!

Stop blaming others for personal short falls! GO GET YOUR OWN CHEESE! =
There is plenty of it!

I found much success in the LTCI industry, being VERY frank with my =
clients. I sincerely pray I have succeeded in planting a seed of =
sensibility with some of the ex LTPCers.

  Regards,

  Berry Brown=20
