I agree we all signed a contract. I don't think that anyone is sitting
around waiting for a handout, or waiting to see what happens before taking a job.
Everyone is working if they want too. Plenty of opportunity out there. Sold
A JH policy today thankyou.
This is important for vested and non vested agents.
1. Is the contract binding since they do not market LTC anymore?
2. Is there legal recourse for those that are not vested?
3. Did the company violate any laws by hiring agents that they knew were
going to be terminated?
4. Did they violate labor laws?
5. An 18 month waiting period might be ruled too extreme based on our
industry, the way premiums are increasing, the way peoples health can change
overnight, based on that now someone's waiting period might be over and they are
eligible for coverage.
These are only a few of the questions I have. They lied to agents, support
staff, policy holders, affinity groups. I am not an attorney, this is not
legal advice. When I get back some answers form the firm that is looking at this
I will post it. I would understand this better if this was a family business
that was forced to close its doors. But this is not the case.
