I guess this is what they call service.
I have a client that recently took out a policy.=A0 They have it a few month=
s.=A0=20
They moved recently and now changing banks.=A0 They need bank draft form.=
=A0 They=20
called me and asked what to do so they don't lose coverage.=A0 I explained t=
hat=20
I was no longer their agent since LTPC does not sell this product anymore an=
d=20
all agents have been let go.=A0 Told them that I would be happy to contact=20
Progeny and have them mail form to them.
I called Progeny so they could mail them a form or get in touch with them.=20
Just following instructions.=A0 Progeny customer service tells me that they=20=
cannot=20
handle this simple request.=A0 That they should call GE and ask for customer=
=20
service.=A0 This is the service that was promised.=A0 They cannot even handl=
e a=20
simple request or call the customer.=A0 They tell me to give them GE's 800 n=
umber.=A0=A0=20
Progeny does not want us to have contact with clients for 18 months, but we=20
have to follow up on service to keep policies in force while they collect=20
service fees.=A0 Very nice.=A0 Oh, Cendant had record earnings this last qua=
rter.=A0=20
Profit was $382 million for quarter.=A0 I guess they don't believe in the tr=
ickle=20
down philosophy.
