There were some bad business decisions at LTPC. Who was making the
decisions. At training for new agents they only learned CNA. Sure there was changes in
the market for LTCI. Some organizations adapted and others did not.
The market is bit for LTCI sales. There are a lot of carriers with products.
Sure rates have gone up, but with the right mix of carriers you are still
competitive. We did not have the right mix of plans, and never should have
relied on CNA as much as we did as a company. Look now, Great American and
Allianz have good plans.
But that is my opinion.
