[Scons-users] Correct way to expand path variables

Can someone advise me of the correct way to expand path variables.

e.g. ['#foo', 'bar'] in a SConscript file in src/ goes to ['foo', 
'src/bar'].

This is for a scanner (the jinja scanner already discussed) to handle 
user defined paths properly.
