This story follows three distinct periods in the life of an alcoholic
Edinburgh man, Frankie Mac (Kevin McKidd). The first period encapsulates
his youth and exposure to an alcoholic father, while the middle period
covers the violence and rebellion of street gang existence. Finally
Frankie succumbs to restraint and seeks help in the form of a 12-step
programme and group meetings. A bravely dark first feature from
writer/director Richard Jobson.
