[kj] (OT) New Damage Manual Record

While I agree that that Mr. Atkins has worked with some great people it 
seems that his time has passed.  But more importantly his greater bodies of 
work are results or reactions to greater bands being in turmoil (with of 
course the exception of PIL and Killing Joke but those were earlier in his 
career).

Pigface happened because everyone was tired of Al after the infamous 
Ministry tour. And in all actuality it was Atkins and the other drummer 
(whose name escapes me) who started Pigface but Mr. Atkins took over after 
the first release and tour.

Murder Inc. was a result of Extremities era Killing Joke not working or 
waiting around for Coleman.

RX (which sucked by the way) was a result of Skinny Puppy breaking again 
(again)

Damage Manual I am not sure.  Maybe just nothing else going on.  Maybe 
Atkins trying to cash in on his two biggest claims of fame. Killing Joke and 
PIL.  And I still have a hard time hearing "former member of Killing Joke.  
Two tours and an album just doesn't seem like a member.  it seems more like 
a hired gun.  Is Dugmore considered a former member?
