For me, it was one of several (all about 1980 or so): little known Boston 
punk band Ground Zero; well known power pop/punk band (also from Boston) the 
Neighborhoods; and New York punk/funk/noise bands DNA, the Dance, and Bush Tetras. 
I think I saw Steel Pulse too. All in a tiny Massachusetts town called 
Northampton (not the English one!).
