So, I spotted a copy of the Nouvelle Vague disc and snapped it up. In the liner notes, it reads:

"Psyche" Written by J.Coleman, G.Walker, M.Glover, P.Raven. Originally recorded by Killing Joke. Performed by Sir Alice. Produced by  Nouvelle Vague. Published by EG Music.  

"...likewise Killing Joke's formerly brutal 'Psyche' here becomes a sumptious gothic faint, replete with schizoid vocals (from the mysterious Sir Alice), horror film organs and percussion slowed to a funereal pace."



Why does Raven get a writing credit?
