And on the opposite side of the fench, with Jaz singing in a cookie
monster voice: "Flight by Day, Fuck by Night" makes me cringe and shake
my head in disbelief. Actually, some of the lyrics on Hosannas seemed to
be inspired by Jaz's love of Blue Oyster Cults' "Fire of Unknown
Origin" album!

KJ is past the glory years, never coming out w/ anything thats gonna
rule like Extremeties or Nighttime again. (pains me to say that).

OTG one of the most horrific experiments gone awry. Jaz trying to make a
pop album that the yuppie masses would consume w/ overwrought lyrics
pointing out hazzards of greed.

I can put OTG on the record player and laugh, point out some decent
parts, rock out to obsession, contemplate how "outside the gate" is
actually a cool sounding title, and laugh some more. I actually can
listen to the full album.

Hossanas is a sheet of gray to me. Majority of songs I have no feelings
toward. I cannot sit thru Invocation, Light Bringer, Title Track,
Gratitude. I love Exorcism from Pandemonium, so its just not the length
of the song.

I do not feel the KJ spirit on Hosannas.
