I'm sure you're right about Geordie. I wish he'd put his foot down more. 
That's where you need Big Paul. Why didn't Geordie leave the drink alone and 
try and sort the sound out - at least live? He's so great, and life is 
short. Probably right about Jaz. Drink a big negative again. Hope you're not 
right about Raven. I imagine he would have been disappointed the way the 
last album sounded - it could have been truly great. I think he is concerned 
about quality - he's a great bass player - but seems to have immersed 
himself in some of the more crass aspects of American culture.

Something very revealing about the first incarnation of Killing Joke as 
opposed to latter years. They saw themselves as tea drinkers, not boozers. 
It wasn't a drinking band. Would that it was still so.

If there is to be a further throw of the dice, I dearly hope they come back 
'dry'.
