I hate both 49 Year Old Virgin and Marley. In fact, 40 year Old Virgin's 
generally-positive reviewing status is one of the things that has made 
me forever distrust critics, even the Pulitzer Prize-winning Roger Ebert.

But we also live in a world where horror classics like _Eye of the 
Devil_ (great old gothic horror movie starring Sharon Tate as a Satanic 
witch a couple years before her murder) and Peter Watkins's _Privilege_ 
(the director who made _The War Game_ about a hypothetical nuclear war, 
won academy award in '66) aren't officially on DVDm while Bill Cosby's 
Leonard: Part 6 and Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo are.

_Privilege_ was a great Brit film about a govt.-manufactured rock star 
who takes advantage of his Beatlemania like following until at the end 
elites use him for outright fascist purposes, making a rock version of 
"Onward Christian Soldiers" and his audiences finally doing Nazi 
salutes. Starred Paul Jones of Manfred Mann in the title role as the 
fascist icon rock star, a cynical take on how elites could use 
Beatlemania, how such a thing might be used to influence the public to 
elites' ends. Only available on cheap dubbed bootlegs.
