I'm on the fringes with Tom Waits & Nick Cave (who are associated in my
brain for some reason), really need to check them both out properly.

Waits is in a classic black & white short film on Youtube called coffee &
cigarettes ( I think), well worth watching, as are the rest in that series
(esp the one with Bill Murray).
