saw them support Magazine at Sheffield Top Rank back in '79! they were
promoting their first single 'Life In A Day' which I thought was okay.
was amazed how 'stellar' it all went for them from there tho'

actually-talking of simple minds- i was in the wimpy cafe-remember
those-in bristol back in 80 one afternoon,i was short of a bit of
cash,guess who walked in-lead singer from simple minds,we struck up a
conforsation and he ended up buying me a cheese burger ;D hes a real
nice bloke i have nothing against him,and their music is ok ;)
