Dirk,

First of all, "Scotch" is the drink. The people are 'Scots' (Shades of "*Ich
bin* ein *Berliner*" there). You could try the Globetrotter Inn - i think
it's more of a hostel but gets good reviews. I haven't stayed there myself.
Of course it has the added advantage of having 5 mile exclusion order out on
Jon Chapman after an incident involving the Girl Guides of South America
(yes...ALL of them)
