Is the time of the year for the Marilyn Manson offspring to show what they have on offer so it seems. After Tim Skold (under the Skold moniker), it's now the turn of Madonna Wayne Gacy (real name Stephen Gregory Bier Jr.) aka Pogo to launch his own act: MMII. The new band from former 17-year member of Marilyn Manson, Pogo, also enlisted Brian Diemar and Hoss.

A first teaser single is out now, "Money is not our God" (you can get the track, a Killing Joke cover, at Amazon MP3 US, at Amazon MP3 DE and at Amazon MP3 UK). New tracks and a full CD will be released in a couple months 'as well as very cool merch' so the band says. Pogo was responsible for much of the Marilyn Manson designs. There are a bunch guests expected to appear on the album. More news soon. And small detail, we noticed that MMII also refers to a book, check it out here and you'll know the reference to his former musical godfather.

Pogo didn't exactly leave on good terms with Manson. In August 2007, Side-Line broke the news that Bier had filed a lawsuit against Manson for unpaid 'partnership proceeds'. Bier claimed that Manson spent the band's earnings on 'sick and disturbing purchases of Nazi memorabilia and taxidermy (including the skeleton of a young Chinese girl)' and on various other luxurious items.

In December 2007, Manson filed a counter suit against Bier, accusing him of breach of contract. The lawsuit was settled for a sum far less than what was originally sought by Bier, namely $175,000 instead of $380,000. The rest was ordered to be paid by Stephen Bier's former Business Managers. 

Quite an inspiring event for Bier's newest "Money is not our God" single.
