[kj] Jaz's Hilarious Rant on Hypocrite Rock Stars in Politics

For the record, I haven't seen this interview yet.

However, I think Jaz is not challenged enough in interviews about some of the comments he makes, or about the way he conducts his own affairs. Most interviewers are not professional so I suppose a lack of toughness is to be expected.

There was one interview, however, that was quite challenging. Unfortunately I can't remember which one - sorry. It was posted here. Jaz seemed to get shirty, pinning the interviewer back in his chair, and telling him not to talk about luck. It struck me that Jaz was agitated because he didn't have an interviewer sitting all bright-eyed in front of him while Jaz explained how fantastic he is, straddling the world of rock while also being ballerina-in-residence somewhere in Prague.  (Jaz is fantastic, of course, but someone needs to take him to task occasionally. All I know is, I'm not f-cking doing it, thanks.....)

The only other time in recent memory I've seen Jaz questioned properly was the recent Radio 1 show with Mark Radcliffe. The bit I'm referring to was like this:

Mark Radcliffe: "So Jaz, c'mon, chips down. Are you really saying that you expect the world to end in 2012? For god's sake, let's just get that one out there."

Jaz (slightly sheepishly, I dare say): "Er, no. No, I'm not really saying that."

Mark Radcliffe: "Right, thank god we finally got to the bottom of that. Thanks Jaz and here's a piece of lard. Chew on it while we play 'Eighties'."

After Jaz criticized musicians for rubbing shoulders with Politicians and after Jaz was critical of Peter Garret , I would have asked Jaz whether he thought that Peter Garret should have refused to accept the Ordre des Arts et des lettres, which was bestowed upon him(Peter Garret) by the French Government in 2009.................................No need to answer Jaz, go on, what was you saying about hypocritical rock stars.......

Had to laugh  when Jaz called Bono and Geldof 'motherfuckers' and 'scum' for rubbing shoulders with the likes of warmonger Blair. I reiterate get Jaz on Question Time now!Ha!
