[Scons-users] display message on build

Hello,

the autoconf tools uses a call like 
context.Display("Cannot check for library %s: %s\n" % (lib_name, msg))

can I use this call myself in the main SConstruct script? How can I use this call?
I don't find the context object within the env object.
